  42. The accompanying documentation doesn't explicitly mention NT, and I've 
  43. only used it with Win3.1, Win3.11 (same serial comm architecture) and 
  44. WFW3.11 (which does use the serial.386 VxD to talk to the hardware, and 
  45. the VCOMM.386 VxD to virtualize com ports for each Virtual Machine, like 
  46. Win95, even though all Win apps are in one VM).

  48. Obviously kernal-mode drivers in NT are a very different thing from the 
  49. VxDs in WFW and Win95. However, in addition to the Windows-compatible 
  50. LPT-driver, which is an installable (ring3) driver-dll, not a comm.drv 
  51. replacement, there's a DOS TSR which, I suppose, could be loaded 
  52. underneath.
